Electricity production in Azerbaijan increases by 3.8%

From January through October 2022, electricity production in Azerbaijan increased by 3.8% compared to the same period last year, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov tweeted, Report informs.
According to the minister, the production of electric energy exceeded 23.748 billion kWh in the first ten months of 2022.
He said that during this period, Azerbaijan exported 2.101 billion kWh, and imported 115.7 million kWh.
Shahbazov noted that in period from January to October, over 1.755 billion kWh of electricity was produced from renewable sources, including water, with an increase of 357.9 million kWh compared to the same period last year.
