Drilling vessel Fatih starts work on Sakarya field

The Turkish Petroleum Corporation TPAO has announced the start of a new phase of work on the Amasra-2 site near the Sakarya gas field in the Black Sea, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
The vessel Fatih was involved in exploration work, which was transferred to the balance of TPAO in 2017.
The volume of reserves of the Sakarya field in the Turkish sector of the sea reaches 710 billion cubic meters. Work continues with the participation of more than 50 vessels.
The first gas from this field will be supplied to consumers in Turkiye, presumably at the end of March this year.
