D-8 Energy and Climate Center may open in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan and the Developing Eight Organization for Economic Cooperation have discussed the establishment of a D-8 Energy and Climate Center on Azerbaijani territory, Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on X.
According to Report, he noted that the discussions took place during a meeting with D-8 Secretary-General Sohel Mahmood.
During the talks, the sides discussed prospects for deepening cooperation in the energy sector, as well as preparations for the first meeting of energy ministers of D-8 member states within the framework of Baku Energy Week.
