Commercial gas production in Azerbaijan increased by over 6%

Last year, over 50.596 billion cubic meters of natural gas was produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

More than 38.668 billion cubic meters of this was commercial natural gas.

During the reporting period, natural gas production increased by 4.3% year-on-year, while commercial gas production increased by 6.2%.

Over the past 12 months, Azerbaijan produced 29.063 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate. Of this, 28.997 million tons was commercial crude oil.

During the reporting period, oil production and commercial oil volumes were 3.9% lower compared to 2023 figures.
