Commercial gas production in Azerbaijan increases by nearly 6%

In January-November 2024, just over 46 billion cubic meters of natural gas was produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, 35.11 billion cubic meters of this was commercial natural gas.

During the reporting period, natural gas production increased by 4.1% year-on-year, while commercial gas production increased by 5.9%.

During the past 11 months, Azerbaijan produced 26.57 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate. Of this, 26.51 million tons was commercial crude oil.

During the reporting period, oil production decreased by 4.1% compared to 11 months of 2023, while the volume of commercial oil decreased by 3.9%.
