BP announces number of production wells to be drilled in Shah Deniz this year

Three production wells are planned to be drilled in the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea this year, Jim O'Leary, Vice President Wells, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye region at bp Azerbaijan, told journalists, Report informs.
According to him, the drilling work will be carried out using the Heydar Aliyev drilling rig. The drilling of wells will be completed with the Istiglal drilling rig.
All these processes take 365 days, O'Leary said.
