Azerenerji mulls implementation of AZURE project with WB

Azerbaijan's Azerenerji and the World Bank (WB) have held discussions on the status of the Azerbaijan Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Project (AZURE), next steps, and the importance of accelerating its implementation, Report informs referring to Azerenerji.
The discussions took place during a meeting between delegations led by the company's Chairman Baba Rzayev and Charles Cormier, World Bank Infrastructure Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on the prospects for integrating large-scale renewable energy sources into the grid in Azerbaijan and prospects for cooperation.
