AzerEnerji increases hydropower production by more than 69%

In January-November 2024, AzerEnerji JSC produced 22.9 billion kWh of electricity, according to the operational data on electricity indicators for 11 months released by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy, Report informs.
This is 986.8 million kWh or 4.1% less compared to the same period in 2023.
Of the electricity produced by AzerEnerji, 20.31 billion was generated at Thermal Power Plants (TPP), and 2.59 billion kWh at Hydroelectric Power Plants (HPP).
This is 2.05 million kWh (9.2%) less and 1.06 billion kWh (69.3%) more respectively compared to January-November 2023.
In the 11 months of this year, the State Energy Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic produced 454.7 million kWh of electricity, 10.5 million kWh or 2.36% more compared to January-November 2023.
The Energy Service produced 227.7 million kWh (-22.9%) at TPPs, 169.5 million kWh (+86.5%) at HPPs, and 57.5 million kWh (-0.52%) at Solar Power Plants (SPP).
During the reporting period, Azerishig JSC produced 36.8 million kWh (-8.2%) at wind power plants, while independent power plants produced 2.53 billion million kWh (+20.1%) of electricity.
