Azerbaijan transports about 7 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe

During January-July of this year, 6.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas (+0.1 billion cubic meters or 1.5%) was exported from Azerbaijan to Europe, said the operative data of the Ministry of Energy for January-July, Report informs.
Gas sales from Azerbaijan abroad in January-July of this year amounted to 13.8 billion cubic meters, 7% more than in January-July of last year.
During this period, 5.8 billion cubic meters of gas (+1 billion cubic meters or 20.8%) were sold from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and 1.4 billion cubic meters to Georgia (-0.2 billion cubic meters or 12.5%).
During the reporting period, about 3.3 billion cubic meters of gas (+0.1 billion cubic meters or 3.1%) was transported to Türkiye through the Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP).
