Azerbaijan supplied almost 11.5BCM of gas to Türkiye in 2024

Gas exports from Azerbaijan to Türkiye in 2024 amounted to 11.478 billion cubic meters, according to the monthly summary of the International Energy Agency, Report informs via Interfax.
The IEA report is released several days earlier than the review by Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority.
According to the agency's data, Azerbaijan supplied 1.037 billion cubic meters of gas to Türkiye in December 2024 compared to 962 million cubic meters in December 2023, i.e., the supply volume increased by 7.8%.
By the end of 2024, Azerbaijan became the second-largest gas supplier to Türkiye. Russia took first place in gas supplies with 21.374 billion cubic meters. Iran ranked third (7.043 billion cubic meters).
