Azerbaijan, Saudi ACWA Power discuss progress of wind farm project

Azerbaijan discussed with the ACWA Power company from Saudi Arabia the progress of the wind power plant (WPP) project, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said in a post on X, Report informs.
“Cooperation with investors from this country plays an important role in realizing our goals to strengthen economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan to ensure the transition to green energy. At a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of ACWA Power, Mohammad Abunayan, an exchange of views took place on joint initiatives in the field RES, the progress of the wind farm project in Azerbaijan, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the field of seawater desalination and other projects,” Jabbarov said.
