In January–March 2025, Azerbaijan exported over 122,286 tons of petroleum products, valued at $56.725 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
According to the customs declarations, the exports grew by 16.3 percent in volume, while decreasing by 9.7 percent in value compared to the first quarter of 2024.
The share of petroleum products in Azerbaijan’s total exports for the reporting period was 0.89%.
Overall, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with other countries worth over $12.048 billion in the first three months of 2025. Of that volume, exports accounted for almost $6.386 billion and imports were responsible for nearly $5.663 billion. During the mentioned period, exports grew by 6.7% and imports rose by 52.6%.
