Azerbaijan’s 1Q2025 oil production volume revealed

Azerbaijan produced 6.9 million tons of oil (including condensate) in the first quarter of 2025, marking a decrease of 0.4 million tons, or 5.48% year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s Ministry of Energy.
Of the total oil production in Q1 2025, 4 million tons came from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields—a 0.2 million ton (4.76%) decline compared to the same period last year.
Additionally, 1 million tons of condensate were produced from the Shah Deniz field, which is 0.1 million tons (9.09%) less than the previous year.
Production from the Absheron field remained unchanged at 0.14 million tons of gas condensate.
Meanwhile, SOCAR's oil production (including condensate) amounted to 1.8 million tons, marking a decline of 0.1 million tons (5.26%) compared to January–March 2024.
Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields until April 1, 2025, a total of 655.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) has been produced—605.6 million tons from ACG and 49.6 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz.
