Azerbaijan's earnings from methanol exports up 25%

In January-April 2025, Azerbaijan exported methanol (methyl alcohol) worth $36.4 million ($7.2 million or 24.6% more YoY), Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

In April alone, Azerbaijan exported methanol worth $8.1 million, which is $1.7 million or 26.6% more compared to the same month last year.

In the first four months of 2025, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 18% YoY, amounting to $1.1 billion.
