Azerbaijan posts about 5% decline in oil exports

Azerbaijan exported 3.9 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January-February 2024, down 0.2 million tons, or 4.9%, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) increased oil exports by 195,000 tons, or 64%, to 500,000 tons.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) exported about 3.4 million tons of oil, down by 0.4 million tons, or 10.5%, from the same period in 2023.
