Azerbaijan posts 10% increase in production of commercial gas

Azerbaijan produced 34,402.6 million cubic meters of natural gas during January-September of this year.

Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that commercial gas accounted for 25,681.2 million cubic meters of this volume.

During the reporting period, natural gas production increased by 8.5%, and commodity gas production rose by 9.8%.

In January-September of this year, Azerbaijan produced 24,493,400 tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, with commercial gas accounting for 24,424,500 tons.

In the reporting period, oil production is 5.3% less than in the same months of the previous year (commodity oil volume is 5.4%).
