Azerbaijan nearly triples revenues from polyethylene exports

According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported primary polyethylene worth $9.3 million in July this year, up 2.5-fold from the previous year, Report mentions, referring to the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication.
In January-July 2021, polyethylene exports amounted to $59.2 million, 2.1-fold more than a year earlier.
SOCAR Polymer's project includes plants for the production of polypropylene with an annual capacity of 184,000 tons and high-density polyethylene with a capacity of 120,000 tons per year.
