Azerbaijan more than doubles electricity exports 

Azerbaijan imported 50.3 million kWh of electricity in January-May 2023, down 10 million kWh, or 16.8%, from the same period of 2022, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.

In the reporting period, the electricity exports stood at 1,253.7 million kWh, up 715.7 million kWh, or 2.3-fold, from a year earlier.

In May alone, the country imported 9.2 million kWh of electricity (-2.2 times) and exported 9.5 million kWh (-2.1 times).
