Azerbaijan increased oil refining in 1H2024

Azerbaijan’s oil refining amounted to 3.2 million tons in the first six months of 2024, Report informs, citing the country’s Energy Ministry.
Compared to the first half of 2023, the volume of the country’s oil refining rose by 0.1 million tons or 3.2%.
In January-June of 2023, Azerbaijan’s oil refining stood at 3.1 million tons.
SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, as the only oil refinery in the region, provides Azerbaijan with fuel products such as RON-92, diesel, jet fuel, and raw materials.
