Azerbaijan increases methanol export revenues by nearly 10%

Azerbaijan has increased its revenues from methanol exports by nearly 10%.
Report informs that, according to customs declarations, from January to July this year, Azerbaijan exported 245,938.15 tons of methanol (methyl alcohol).
The value of this volume of methanol amounted to $59.79 million, which is 10.1% lower and 9.6% higher compared to the same period last year, respectively.
During the reporting period, methanol accounted for 2.86% of non-oil sector exports and 0.39% of the country’s total exports.
