Azerbaijan increases gasoline and diesel production this year 

In the first eleven months of the year, Azerbaijan produced oil products worth 3,984,400,000 manats, a growth of 14.6% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, the country produced 1,138,900 tons of gasoline, 2,238,800 tons of diesel fuel, 46,500 tons of lubricants, 347,200 tons of petroleum bitumen.

During the first eleven months of this year, gasoline production in Azerbaijan increased by 6.8%, diesel fuel – by 19%, lubricants – by 60.9%, while petroleum bitumen remained unchanged.

In January-November 2021, the country produced 370,700 tons of gasoline for use in the petrochemical industry, 440,200 tons of kerosene, 59,300 tons of fuel oil, and 235,000 tons of petroleum coke.

The production of gasoline for use in the petrochemical industry increased by 2.3-fold, petroleum coke by 30.9%, fuel oil by 1.5%, while kerosene dropped by 4.1%.
