In January-November 2024, Azerbaijan exported a total of 10.44 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Türkiye, 12.3% more compared to the eleven months of 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Report informs.
In November alone, Azerbaijan exported 970.16 million cubic meters of natural gas to Türkiye, which is 41.44% more compared to November 2023.
Thus, Azerbaijan became the second-largest natural gas exporter to Türkiye in November, accounting for 16.7% of Türkiye's total natural gas imports.
Overall, Türkiye imported a total of 5.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas in November, which is 30.95% more compared to the same month in 2023.
Russia held the first place in gas exports to Türkiye in November. In the 11th month of the year, Russia exported 2 billion 728.67 million cubic meters of natural gas to Türkiye, which is 18.48% more compared to November 2023.
Iran ranked third in November, delivering 853.82 million cubic meters of gas to Türkiye during the month. Gas transportation from Iran to Türkiye increased by 25.09% compared to November 2023.
