Azerbaijan increases gas production by over 3%

Azerbaijan produced 12.6 bcm of natural gas in January-March 2024, up 400 million cubic meters, or 3.3%, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.
Of this, 3.3 bcm was extracted from ACG (remained the same), 6.9 bcm from Shah Deniz (+0.2 bcm or 3%), and 0.4 bcm from the Absheron field.
SOCAR's gas production made up 2 billion cubic meters, down 0.2 billion cubic meters, or 9.1%, from the previous year.
