Azerbaijan increases electricity exports by 23%

Azerbaijan exported 1,277.3 million kWh of electricity and imported 157.6 million kWh in January-July 2023, Report informs, citing the Energy Ministry.
According to the ministry, compared to a year earlier, the exports increased by 239.6 million kWh, or 23.1%, the imports went up by 74.1 million kWh, or 88.7%.
In July alone, electricity imports made up 19.7 million kWh, while the exports stood at 12.4 million kWh, respectively, up 58.9% and down 30.1 times from the previous year.
