Azerbaijan, IFC discuss green energy cooperation

Azerbaijan and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) discussed aspects of cooperation on green energy projects, including the use of offshore wind energy, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
Issues of cooperation between the ministry and the corporation on projects in the field of renewable energy and the export of green energy from the Caspian Sea to Europe and from Nakhchivan to Türkiye were discussed at a meeting between Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and a delegation led by IFC Regional Vice President for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean Alfonso Garcia Mora.
The sides also talked about energy transition, energy efficiency, green hydrogen, and electromobility.
