Azerbaijan exported over 2.3 bcm of natural gas in January

According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported $2.34 billion cubic meters of natural gas worth $870.08 million in January, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
The volume of exported natural gas is 21.05% higher, and its value is 17.6% higher compared to the first month of 2024.
Natural gas accounted for 28.64% of Azerbaijan's total exports.
In January, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $5.09 billion with other countries. Of the foreign trade turnover, $3.03 billion accounted for exports, and $2.05 billion for imports. Over the past year, exports increased by 64.8%, while imports surged by 79.7%.
