Azerbaijan discloses volume of oil refined in 1Q2025

In January-March 2025, 1.4 million tons of oil were refined in Azerbaijan, 200 tons or 12.5% ​​less year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country's Ministry of Energy.

In January-March of 2024, oil refining in the country amounted to about 1.6 million tons.

SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev Refinery, as the only oil refining enterprise in the region, not only supplies Azerbaijan with fuels such as RON92, diesel and jet fuel, but also supplies SOCAR's petrochemical enterprises in Azerbaijan with raw materials. Some part of the plant's products are exported.
