Azerbaijan declared import of about 547MCM of gas in 2024

The declared gas import to Azerbaijan in 2024 amounted to 546.819 million cubic meters, which is 4.3 times lower than in 2023, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee data.

The cost of gas imported to Azerbaijan in the reporting year amounted to $86.988 million, decreasing by 4.2 times compared to 2023. According to statistical data, in the total volume of gas imports, 405.171 million cubic meters worth $60.775 million was supplied from Turkmenistan.

Compared to 2023, supplies decreased by 3.8 times in quantitative terms and by 1.5 times in monetary terms. Gas imports from Russia were declared at 141.647 million cubic meters worth $26.204 million. This is 5.7 times less than in 2023 in quantitative terms and 5.5 times less in monetary terms.
