Azerbaijan and Kenya sign memorandum on energy cooperation

The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum of Kenya have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on energy cooperation, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said in a post on X.
According to Report, the document covers cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, including liquefied natural gas (LNG), electric power, and renewable energy sources. It also envisions promoting joint investments and the development of energy infrastructure, particularly the modernization of power grids.
The initiative aims to expand the geographical reach of Azerbaijan’s energy cooperation and improve access to new markets.
