Associated gas production in Azerbaijan down by over 1%

In January-September 2024, associated gas production in Azerbaijan amounted to 11.14 billion cubic meters, 1.4% less compared to the same period in 2023, Report says, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Of this, 2.75 billion cubic meters (1.9% more) accounted for commercial gas.

Associated gas accounted for 30% of the total gas production in Azerbaijan. The remaining volume – 25.98 billion cubic meters or 70% was natural gas (5.6% more).

Last year, associated gas production in Azerbaijan amounted to 15.09 billion cubic meters (2.2% less compared to 2022). Additionally, 3.57 billion cubic meters (15.7% less) accounted for commercial gas.
