The 12th International Caspian Energy Forum, organized by the Caspian Energy Club jointly with Enermus CJSC, has started in Baku, Report informs.
The main topics of the forum are "30th anniversary of the Contract of the Century – ensuring sustainable transition between two periods", "Stable transportation of green energy generated in Azerbaijan to Europe", "Transition to a green economy in countries located along the Middle Corridor" and "Green Karabakh".
The goal of the forum is to highlight sustainable development processes running in the region, positive outcomes of reforms ongoing in the Middle Corridor countries’ economies on the way towards a ‘green world’, attract investors to ‘green’ projects in the region and promote public and private sectors’ ‘green’ projects on an international arena..
More than 500 delegates are taking part in the forum, including heads of government agencies, state and transnational companies, international financial institutions, leading analytical centers, investment companies and rating agencies of the Caspian, Black Sea and Baltic region states, as well as representatives of diplomatic and international missions accredited in Azerbaijan.
