Ukraine plans to deepen cooperation with universities of Azerbaijan

Ukraine plans to establish cooperation with separate universities in Azerbaijan, Ukraine’s ambassador, Yuriy Husyev, told Report.

"We have plans to deepen cooperation in education and science with Azerbaijan. These plans involve specific universities, implementing joint exchanges and programs, conferences, and other projects, as well as cooperation between educational authorities," said the ambassador.

The diplomat emphasized that both sides are also working on strengthening cooperation between the national academies of sciences of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

"We are working on improving the treaty framework between our countries to facilitate deeper cooperation," said the ambassador.

Husyev also thanked Azerbaijan for the support provided to Ukraine.

"We highly appreciate the support for territorial integrity, sovereignty, and humanitarian assistance from Azerbaijan, which Ukraine has been receiving since the first days of the full-scale invasion," he said.

Husyev also highlighted the importance of health and rehabilitation programs for Ukrainian children in Azerbaijan and the provision of energy equipment.
