New general director appointed for Karabakh University Clinic

By order of the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, Samir Namig oglu Babayev has been appointed as the General Director of the Karabakh University Clinic.

According to Report, which cites Karabakh University, Babayev received his medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University (2001-2003) and later at Istanbul University in Türkiye (2003-2007). From 2009 to 2013, he pursued residency training at New York Medical College in the United States, followed by an advanced training program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from 2013 to 2016.

With nearly 20 years of experience in leadership roles, Babayev has worked at New York Medical College, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and the renowned Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
