"Nearly 60% of schools in Azerbaijan are heated by heating systems and gas. Other schools are heated by firewood and other fuels. Fuel was also delivered to those schools," said Education Minister Emin Amrullayev.
Report quotes him as saying there are heating problems in city schools for various reasons: "As of last night, about 60 schools had heating problems. There are some problems within some schools, and they are being eliminated. 85-90% of schools in Baku have heat. In other schools, problems will be eliminated in the coming weeks jointly with the respective structures."
