Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan preparing joint grant programs to support scientists

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are preparing joint grant programs to fund scientific research, Kazakhstan's Minister of Education Sayasat Nurbek said, Report informs.

"The ministries of education of the two countries are developing a mechanism for creating joint grant programs so that scientists can receive additional funding for scientific research," the minister noted.

He emphasized that leading universities have not remained indifferent to the initiative of sending specialists to Karabakh University. "We will send 10-15 of our best teachers who will teach in English at Karabakh University," Nurbek noted.

The minister also expressed hope that Azerbaijani students will show interest in studying in Kazakhstan, where government scholarships are allocated annually by the state.
