A delegation led by the Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, is visiting Istanbul to participate in the 4th meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish-Azerbaijani University and to meet with rectors of Turkish higher education institutions, Report informs, citing the ministry.
As part of the visit, the delegation, led by Amrullayev, attended the 4th meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish-Azerbaijani University on February 27. The Azerbaijani delegation also met with Erol Ozvar, Chairman of the Turkish Council of Higher Education (CHE), Mustafa Kurt, Rector of Marmara University, and Hasan Mandal, Rector of Istanbul Technical University (ITU).
The meetings involved familiarization with the material and technical facilities and laboratories of the leading faculties of these universities, and discussions on cooperation opportunities with several Azerbaijani universities, including Karabakh University.
Additionally, a meeting was held with Azerbaijani doctoral students in Türkiye to discuss their future academic and scientific activities.
Further meetings with university rectors are planned as part of the visit, which will continue until March 2.
