Azerbaijan reveals number of educational facilities destroyed in Karabakh, East Zangazur during Armenian occupation

Armenians have completedly destroyed 993 educational establishments in Karabakh and East Zangazur, Deputy Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Firudin Gurbanov told a conference on the architectural heritage of Karabakh and East Zangazur and problems of its restoration, protection and use.
Report informs quoting the deputy minister that huge damage was inflicted on Azerbaijani culture in period of occupation.
"There were around 750 cultural monuments in Karabakh and East Zangazur. 74 mosques, over 800 cemeteries and 993 educational facilities were destroyed in these territories," he said.
