Zagatala bioreserve project launced in Azerbaijan

"At present, a project to establish the Zagatala Bioreserve on the basis of the Zagatala State Nature Reserve has been launched. Katex waterfall can be considered as one of the tourist routes," said Arzu Samadova, Deputy Chief of the Service of Protection of Biodiversity, Report informs.
According to her, the reserve will be created once the project is completed:
"This will allow ecotourism to operate there. Thus, the Katex waterfall can be considered as one of the tourist destination. It requires some research. The opinion of both local and foreign experts is essential."
