Official: Last time Baku saw such level of precipitation in 1966

Given that the rainfall is currently ongoing, it is expected that the amount of precipitation will increase, Gulnara Abbasova, Deputy Head of the National Hydrometeorological Service, said in a statement to journalists, Report informs.

Abbasova said that the last time such precipitation was recorded in Baku was in 1966:

"The amount of precipitation has been changing depending on the regions over the past 15 hours. The amount of precipitation in Baku is currently 57 mm, which is 2 times more than the monthly norm."
