Nigar Arpadarai: Azerbaijan will provide support for successful organization of COP30 in Brazil

Azerbaijan will offer comprehensive support for the successful organization of COP30 in Brazil, United Nations High-Level Climate Champion for COP29, Nigar Arpadarai, said during a panel discussion at the 12th Global Baku Forum, according to Report.

"We will do everything possible to ensure that the parties not only take on climate commitments but also fulfill them. We have a concrete action plan that we will promote," she said.

According to Arpadarai, her mandate involves active work with various stakeholders, including the private sector, civil society, municipalities, and academic circles.

"It is important that the process is inclusive. This year, I will have significant work ahead of me to draw the attention of all key participants and ensure their engagement," she emphasized.
