Lightning, torrential rain, hail and heavy wind predicted in Azerbaijan - WARNING

Baku. 23 June. REPORT.AZ/ The weather forecast for weekend in Azerbaijan was announced.

Report was informed in the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, tomorrow, the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be rainless. However, rain expected in some places at night. Mild north-west wind will blow and intensify in the evening. Mild north-western wind will be replaced by south-east in the daytime.

Temperature on the peninsula will be 20-23 C at night, 30-35 C in daytime, in Baku 21-23 C at night and 32-34 C in daytime.

Atmospheric pressure will be below normal - 756 mm mercury column; relative humidity will be 70-80 % at night and 35-45% in the daytime.

On northern beaches of Absheron (Sumgayit, Novkhani, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba) tomorrow, mild north-western wind will be replaced by south-east in the daytime. The sea water temperature will be 23-24 degrees. On southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikh) also north-west wind will blow and will be replaced by south-east wind in the afternoon. The sea water temperature will be 24-25 degrees.

Weather will be dry in Azerbaijani regions.However, , lightning and rain are expected in some northern and western regions in the morning and daytime. Shower and hail predicted in some places. East wind will blow.

Temperature will be 17-22 C at night, 32-37 C in daytime, in mountains temperature will be 11-16 at night 20-25 C in the daytime.

Ministry warns, n-western wind expected to intensify in Baku and Absheron peninsula on June 25-26. Lightning and intermittent rain are expected in some northern and western regions on June 24-26. Shower and hail predicted in some places. West wind will blow and intensify in some places.
