The declaration of East Zangazur as a green energy zone by order of the head of state made the steps to be taken in the field of ecology inevitable, Aygun Aliyeva, Executive Director of the State Support Agency for NGOs, said at a public discussion on the state of implementation of the “Bill on waste”, Report informs.
Aliyeva expressed her hope that the nature destroyed in Karabakh as a result of the eco-terror caused by Armenians for many years will be restored with the support of NGOs: “The purpose of holding this event is a step towards solving such problems.”
Touching on COP29 to be held in Azerbaijan, the executive director emphasized that holding such a huge event in Baku is a significant achievement for the country.
