COP29 President calls for global endorsement of Declaration on Water for Climate Action

At the Nevsky International Environmental Congress, Mukhtar Babayev, President of COP29 and the Azerbaijani President’s Special Representative for Climate Issues, called on nations to support the Declaration on Water for Climate Action, adopted at COP29.

According to Report, Babayev moderated a session focused on regional collaboration, specifically addressing the alarming decline in water levels in the Caspian Sea.
