Baku Map to guide climate finance allocation after COP29

A Baku Map is being developed to guide the distribution of climate finance following the outcomes of COP29, COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev said at the Baku Climate Action Week (BCAW2025), Report informs.
Babayev noted that Azerbaijan continues to hold the COP29 presidency and remains actively engaged in global climate dialogue.
"At COP29, all parties came together across various sectors. We are now working to ensure countries fulfill their commitments," he said.
He emphasized that the results of COP29 demonstrated Azerbaijan's growing significance on the global stage: "We achieved a sense of solidarity at COP29. Every partnership increases our chances for peace and stability."
