The mountain areas of Azerbaijan are set to experience a significant drop in temperature tomorrow, July 29, with lows reaching 8°C (46°F), the National Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Report.

Baku and the Absheron Peninsula expect partly cloudy skies with a low chance of precipitation. However, brief showers and thunderstorms may occur in some parts of the peninsula during the night and morning hours. The strong northwesterly wind will shift to a moderate northeasterly later in the day. Temperatures will range from 19-23°C (66-73°F) at night and 25-29°C (77-84°F) during the day. The atmospheric pressure will stabilize at 760 mm Hg, with relative humidity at 70-80% at night and 45-55% during the day.

Across other districts of Azerbaijan, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected, with some areas experiencing intense rainfall and possible hail. The precipitation will gradually cease towards the evening. Fog is forecasted for the night and morning hours. The easterly wind may intensify in some places. Nighttime temperatures will range from 18-23°C (64-73°F), while daytime highs will reach 25-30°C (77-86°F). In the mountains, expect lows of 8-13°C (46-55°F) and highs of 13-18°C (55-64°F).
