Azerbaijan’s August weather forecast: Temperatures to remain near climatic norms

Average air temperatures across Azerbaijan in August are expected to remain close to the climatic norm, with some areas experiencing slightly above-average levels, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorology Service.
Monthly precipitation is also forecast to be near normal levels.
During the first ten days of the month, weather conditions will generally be dry across the country, though short-term showers may occur in mountainous regions during the daytime. Southeastern winds are expected to prevail.
In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, the average monthly temperature is projected at 26–28°C, consistent with long-term averages. Nighttime temperatures will range between 22–27°C, while daytime highs are expected to reach 29–34°C, with occasional peaks of 38–40°C. Monthly precipitation is forecast at levels close to the norm of 6–8 millimeters.
