Azerbaijan, Asian Development Bank mull environmental protection

Future cooperation opportunities in the field of environmental protection were discussed with the Asian Development Bank, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources said, Report informs.

A meeting was held between the delegation led by the Vice President for South, Central and West Asia of the Asian Development Bank, Yingming Yang, and the First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Rashad Ismayilov.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on measures taken in Azerbaijan to protect the environment, reduce the impacts of climate change and adapt to a changing climate. Future cooperation opportunities were discussed.
