Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Vice President of Iran discuss climate cooperation

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Iran Ali Alizada discussed cooperation on climate and environmental protection with Iran's Vice President and Head of the Environmental Protection Organization, Shina Ansari, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Tehran.

"Ambassador Ali Alizada met with Iran's Vice President and Head of the Environmental Protection Organization Shina Ansari and discussed cooperation in climate and environmental protection. The Ambassador also viewed the ongoing 22nd International Environmental Exhibition in Iran," the embassy stated.

Last month, Iran's Vice President visited Azerbaijan to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
