The voting process has been completed at the Azerbaijani Embassy in the People’s Republic of China, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Embassy in China.
The voting at polling station No. 44 in the Yasamal second constituency No. 16, established at the embassy, began at 8 a.m. local time and ended at 7 p.m.
“Our citizens who were at consular registration at the embassy, the flight crew of the Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC aircraft operating on the Baku-Beijing-Baku flight, and voters who, for various reasons, were in Beijing on election day, took part in the voting. Azerbaijani citizens in the elections showed particular activity,” reads the message.
In connection with the early presidential elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan, voting began in China at 8 a.m. local time, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Embassy in China.

In order to ensure the electoral rights of Azerbaijani citizens living outside the country or on long-term business trips, 49 polling stations have been created in 37 countries in the early presidential elections - the first elections that will be held in Azerbaijan after the restoration of the territorial integrity and state sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the law, voting in the presidential election will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 7 p.m. according to the local time zones of the countries. Voting at polling stations established at diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan began at the embassy of the country in the Republic of Korea and will end at the US Consulate General in Los Angeles.
