Victim: People, weapons transported from Armenia to Karabakh

Today, a victim, Aghalar Aliyev, testified and answered questions at the ongoing trial at the Baku Military Court.

According to Report, Aliyev stated he was born in the city of Shusha and attended middle school together with Armenians.

The victim added that he worked in law enforcement agencies when Armenia had territorial claims against Azerbaijan.

According to him, the "Miatsum" process openly began in February 1988: "They said Armenians demanded that Karabakh should be given to Armenia."

Aliyev also highlighted helicopters moving from territories of Azerbaijan, that were once under occupation, to Armenia and vice versa: "I saw the helicopters myself. People were transported from Armenia, and weapons were transported too."

He then answered questions from state prosecutors, representatives of victims, the defense, and the accused persons.

The trial continues for Armenian citizens accused of crimes against peace and humanity, including war crimes, acts of terrorism, the preparation and execution of aggressive war, genocide, violations of war laws and rules, forcible seizure and retention of power, as well as financing terrorism, among other offenses stemming from Armenia's military aggression.
